A1 & WB:
Congratulations! Nothing that you will do will be more important or more rewarding.
My wife and I have 4 and I can tell you it has given us far more blessings that I can describe.
A1, I have a 180 and I can tell you that it has been a tremendous family plane. My boys (I have 3) are in HS and College and they can still recall in detail the trips we made when they were 4 or 5 to Oshkosh. One trip I made with 2 of the boys. There wasn't an ounce of available space in the plane. With full tanks, loaded down ice chests and the family luxo-tent that weighs a ton (but has been a life saver), we left our airport here at 4,800 ft on a warm July morning and climbed straight over a 11,000 foot rock to the east. The 180 didn't even break a sweat.
Many fond memories are headed your way. Enjoy them while they last, because soon enough you will be hearing "Dad, I know you wanted to spend time with me today, but I would rather hang out with my friends and by the way, can I have the keys".
Good luck!!!
