Hey Rich, you are right. Simonds, Mile High, Dewey Moore, and Vines are all way higher and way harder, Plus no go around at MH, DM, and Simonds. If you mess up at those places it would be way worse than my place.

My place is peaches and cream for Super Cub types. 180s ?? probably, with the right guy in the left seat. 182 I'd bet money Larry can. 205s that crazy ex-Mooney driver. I have some mud to slow him down. #-o

Rob, Utah Maule landed my 400' strip, field elevation 5460', and he made it look easy. Here's the takeoff anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwpVWDk2txc Hell of an airplane you have there, good job!

Thanks Tom S. and CamTom. Dreams do come true. Tom S. I do need to come visit you sometime. Now I need a wind sock and get some sprinklers in so I can keep it pretty and green like Johnson Creek.

The 2 seat Quicksilver MXL II Sport is going to be fun. It will be at the property all the time. I have a new 582 UL Rotax blue head, new clutch kit in the C box, a wide tail kit, and a new 72" 3 blade Warp drive prop, ground adjustable, new MGL color MFD.

Cheers...Rob

Oh...that was kind of low. [emoji12]

I’ve done a 600’ strip while alone and very light. The reality though is if I’m ever up your way I’ll likely have a bunch of crap with me![emoji1]

Zane, it's all personal choice. To slow down, some guys like mud, some snow, some road signs, we know who we are. Personally I like winter trees with no leaves. It's still your fault for not wearing your brain bucket!

It's funny you mentioned that. Yesterday Lisa and I were at the beach going through old pictures. Those pictures came up. She said, When did that happen. Hum, I must have forgot to tell her.

Lot funnier now than then. =D>

Re: Hay field landing.

Isn’t that the truth! I’m really happy for you man! Every pilots dream I think. Someday I hope I can pull it off, but not as long as I’m in a subdivision though!

Hay field landing.

The field has been working good. The roller coaster surface is, well interesting. :D Landed and take off both directions. To much fun in the Quicksilver!
