M/C in the sky...

Hi, all;
First time on this site. Great!!
Copters are like a motor-cycle in the sky. I love 'em - but after 13 hours instruction, realized there's no way this is ever going to be affordable, in the long-haul.
My old "59 C-172, with larger tires is keeping me quite happy now, and at a price tag that's cheap enough to enjoy! Spent 3+ weeks in the Idaho back-country this last August, w/ a couple of other friends & their planes - whooo wheee!
Really looking forward to visiting this site on these rainy nights.
Going to Baja next week when the Wx clears, 1st time, w/ the same other two planes.
Thanks for all the tips!!
P.S. I flew into Chicken Strip a few weeks ago for my first time. Really nice.
