Re: Here I go....

You remind me a lot of a plaque on the wall of one of the officers I had regular contact with, eons ago in the USAF: "Man is like the turtle; getting ahead requires sticking his neck out."

I'm really glad it's working out for you, and I can imagine the learning curve is nearly vertical. Hope it continues to work out well.

Hopefully this works. It was shot by my client this year, Gareth Buckland, he gave me permission to share it.

What an awesome video! Headoutdaplane, I hope you're still doing well up there this year. I would love to make it up that way to see how it's going in person!

Re: Here I go....

This year's season is coming on fast!

Beluga Lake has already broken up, and we are getting a lot of calls for this season....so I am optimistic. We are fixing up our second dock, which was unusable, there seems to be a need for it on the lake for transient folks. My wife is picking out colors to paint the cabin/office, she said that she would take care of everything, but from our last conversation it sounds like I will be getting paint on my carharts pretty soon.

As a gift to myself at the end of last season I had LED lights installed in both wings. All of the fishing lodge beavers have them, and I had light envy....what I really have Alaska Door envy, but that is a big ticket item that I just don't think I can justify.

All in all we are excited to get going this year, I will put the plane on the lake here in about two weeks, and then the fun starts! =D>

Re: Here I go....

Hi Wes!

My better half and I are in Kenai getting my 170 out of the snowbank (actually it's just a gravel bed since they didn't have much snow)... we'll be coming to Homer sometime in the next few weeks and Jessica wants to take one of your day-trip bear tours. We'll give you a call or stop by when we get in town and set something up.

Will you be at the Airmen's show?
