High Desert Fly-In 2012

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Now Kevin, you know there is nothing out here in this wind blown empty god forsaken desert. Nevada should be avoided as there is nothing here but sand, sagebrush, jack rabbits and low women.

Can't wait til next year; you really have found a great fliers park. Thanks for sharing it with us. =D>

I'm not interested in discussing the 170 here, but I would highly recommend adding "testing both brakes" to your pre-landing checklist. Especially if you are flying a taildragger in to a tight field. I have.

Headed to Saline Valley(Chicken Strip) S. entrance, through Vegas, 16 Nov. for the weekend in my small car, let me know if I can haul anything out there.
