Horton

I have done my research and have pretty much decided to go with Horton. Will be ordering in about two weeks.

What research have you done that has led you to decide a Horton STOL kit is best? This site as well as others is littered with threads discussing the various STOL kits for the Cessna wing. It seems pretty unanimous that the Sportsman STOL kit is the best. I've flown both and I agree. Never heard of anyone removing a Sportsman to install a Horton, but plenty have done so the other way around.

Please reconsider and do more research. Ask Willie Stene at Stene Aviation to see his sportsman STOL testimonials for the Cessna 182 and Cessna 185 doing the Big Creek Four. I'm on the nickel rub program myself, but I will kick in $25.00 to cut down the price difference between the two kits. A Horton is great, but the Sportsman is exceptional. You will not be disappointed.

Been talking to the FBO guy in Weed and he has had one for 10 years and he is really glad he went that way. Like I say I have not ordered yet.

I'll sell you my horton so I can buy a sportsman. Free shipping! Haha. But in all seriousness, I would sell it to you. I've been wanting to change to a sportsman, and if I could sell the horton, my wife may be more receptive to the idea of switching.
