How many tailwheel types in your log book?

I have only four types PA18, Luscombe, Citabria and Fleet Canuck.

Decided that I need to add some types which are in reasonable reach, so no P-51, as yet, or Harvard.

The list of potential other log book entries looks like this: PA20, C140, C170, Taylorcraft, Pitts, Stearman, Chipmunk, Tiger Moth, Jodel, Condor, Emeraude, Stinson, Husky.

Less realistically C195, Staggerwing, BE18.

I have Aeronca Champ, our Murphy Rebel, Stinson 108, J3 Cub, C170, C195, our Kolb Firestar, and glider time in Schweizer 1-26 and 2-33.

Mike has Aeronca Champ, C140, C170, C195, Stinson 108, our Kolb Firestar, our Murphy Rebel, our RV-4, our Rans S-18 and glider time as well. And he has tow plane time in Super Cubs and Pawnees.

Next year, we plan to log time in our CubCrafter Carbon Cub EX when it flies.

Re: How many tailwheel types in your log book?

I left out the Pitts S1C for Mike. All of our time has been over the last 40+ years for both of us.

Re: How many tailwheel types in your log book?

I've only got one: 7KCAB. Trying to add at least a Beaver while I'm here. Maybe I'll have a shot at our Otter.

J-3, J-5, PA11,12,18, Pawnee 235 and PA25-250, Stearman w/R985, Callair, Taylorcraft L4 and DC-65, Luscombe 8A, Cessna 170 and 180, Kitfox, and several homebuilt airplanes I don't remember the name of. Oh! I was the first ever to fly the Daisy Mae. Marv Reese designed and built this completely wood and fabric bi-plane. He wrote a book on building it called "The Making of Daisy May."

Re: How many tailwheel types in your log book?

I forgot my favorite, Aeronca 7AC, and Citabra, BC-12D, Stinson 108 and Maule. Ag Flight had mostly Citabras for primary but I preferred to use the 7AC and J5 for primary and the 135 hp Supercub for teaching spraying.

I forgot C-120 and C-140. Got my Commercial in those on the Army's dime. First ROTC cadet to do so.

I didn't think about that. I can add UH-60L to my list, too. 2 flights in one so far. More next week.
