I had the honor of flying a bride into her wedding over the weekend. This grand entrance was kept a secret, only the wedding party knew about it. We had timed a few practice landings the night before to coordinate our arrival with the bridesmaids walking down the isle. During the wedding the river was flat calm and I set up a glassy water landing that ended with the plane settling down right in front of the wedding party. With a short taxi to shore the bride stepped off the float, met her father and proceeded to walk down the isle. It could not have worked out any better.
I don't think the bride was wearing rubber boots, but I would not have put it past her. She is one outdoorsy girl. I met up with their wedding photographer this afternoon for another photo shoot and she sent me this picture as a preview. I though it was neat, although the plane could have been closer
Nice! I wanted to arrive at my wedding by landing the plane on the church grounds. My wife for some strange reason said no! I rekon she just didnt want me to show her up! That said the church weren't going to let me either but thats beside the point! A minor detail

I don't think he's the groom, just the bride-delivery pilot.
