It's over run but not by californians....Hammer wrote:That's exactly how I feel about Californians moving to Idaho.
. It was the last place I could find that wasn't over-run with Californians.
Ok not all of us are tree huggers. I for one hunt and fish. In fact my trips to Idaho are for fly fishing as well as the great flying. Its true though that Cal is full of feel good anti hunting nuts who know absolutely nothing about wildlife or land management.. THey think buying and planting a couple of trees will make up for their polution. IE Al Gores carbon creditsl I may live here but I don't play their game..eddie wrote:I guess we all wonder about Cal. and hope they don't come to visit also. In Alaska we love the ones that come up and want to stop hunting and trapping, and of course hurting fish with hooks. We must be barbarians !
Trouble is that lions are at the top of the food chain in the back country here and if their numbers aren't controlled they overpopulate and the health of the species declines.
that must be why we are seeing more of them and they are actually coming into populated areas to find food. Reality of the situation is they are starting to overpopulate and it is showing in the poor health , overall, of the species.... Not gonna argue this topic. I'm done.......!
