I guess I'll Say Hi...

Hi.

Marshall here (or Mug). Enough about me... :D Here's my '57 PA-22/20-150 based out of Spanish Fork, UT (U77).

I got her up near Spokane and flew her home myself with the ink still wet on my TW endorsement. File that little adventure under "Lived to Tell." She's been around AK and Canada most her life, even riding on floats for years. She's perfect.

More info (me or the plane) upon request!

Oh and yeah, you are all partially to blame, hehe.

Cheers,

Marshall

Mug, no one else here has ever had an experience like that. ;-)

Good looking bird. Let's get some decent sized tires on her. Oh, and welcome. :-)

Welcome! Beautiful plane! More pictures!

I'd also love to hear the "lived to tell" story on the ride home if you're willing. I'm a super low tailwheel time guy myself and interested in Pacers.

I'm based in Spanish Fork too. Is that your plane on the ramp in front of the pilots lounge?

Thanks Phil. And I've enjoyed lurking and learning from everybody's stories!

Thanks. I plan to. Too many landing spots, so little tire diameter sometimes.

Thank you. I will have to get some posted. Most of my pictures are through the window looking out.

Thanks Scott!

Yes, Sam, thanks. I believe it improves airflow when on floats during the takeoff "roll".

Thanks. It is a fun area to explore! Lots more to discover yet!

Hi Mug.

Thanks man. I thought it was time to introduce myself if I wanted to get to know everyone better.

Hi Dan. That sounds great! That's why I figured I better pipe up and say hello - so we can go do some flying together! I would love some 31" rubber and one in the back. Saving my pennies!

That's me :) Although I try to vacate the spot as often as I can.

Welcome Mug! Congrats on the plane. If you don't know Allen and Noreen, great people. I'm up here in OGD. Let's go play sometime. Also, there is a UT pilot group on here. Make sure to join. Good way to look for people to go fly with.

Those are the old Plane Booster wingtip STC... Now owned by Cub Crafters and re certified only for the Supercub... I personally would by the Sullivan STC wing tips and bolt them on in place of those, identical installation but without the droop...
