Idaho Aviation Association New Years Day Fly-in

The Idaho Aviation Association organized a great little potluck and fly-in at Dug Bar in Hell's Canyon on the morning of New Years Day.

It was well attended. I believe that there were nearly 50 planes.

The weather was fantastic and a fine time was had by all.

I shot a little drone footage of the scene.

The skywagon next to yours (47Charlie) used to belong to my flying buddy here in WA.
Great airplane, he sold it a couple years ago to a guy down near Bend.
Great to see it out and about!

That's my friend Pat. It's a fine example!

We flew over together from BDN.

I was hoping the weather would clear enough in east Idaho but it’s not looking good. I’ve pretty much called it a no go. Lame.
