In Anchorage till friday....(July 19th)

So I'm up here in Anchorage about 5 minutes from Merril field and a bit longer from Lake hood. Such awesome places! Anyway, if you plan to go flying and would like some dead weight and maybe a free meal/some gas let me know! Apparently there is a shin dig tomorrow at Hood so I'll probably be over there sunday, but will travel as needed!

Okay...just checking...and you can't drive here anyway unless you're driving a plane. If I had time and money, I'd fly to town to meet the famous backcountry mooney driver...but I can't make that happen this round.

Brian-

Go to the heritage museum at Hood and ask for Jim Branham. He is a very close friend of my family, owns, flown or pickled just about every plane on the property inside and out. You will like him. He is ex military, former Air America pilot with crazy stories. He goes by Sgt Rock. It will make sense when you meet him.

He is the man!!! Trust me. Make it your mission to meet him!!!
