The damn rabbit is trying pretty damn hard to pull me and my wallet down the hole! Sent the transponder out to get recertified, and turns out its a boat anchor. So now I'm gonna have a hole in my panel driving me crazy. Makes me think a panel rearrange/rebuild would be a good plan to alleviate the hole and save weight. Thankfully the wallet says no. Mounting the battery on the firewall also makes me want to do an extended baggage, and floor, and tear out the whole interior and do the selkirk foam thing. Again, wallet says no.
Matts, Robs and Gregs threads really aren't helping. Are you guys all AIs or is it legal to do your own interiors without being an AI in the US?

Ok. Thanks guys. My AME is very friendly and like the idea of these utility interiors. Also know that I'm capable of doing it, so in a couple years I'm hoping he'll work with me on getting it done.
