That was very good STOL performance!
We used to have a "wild" horse on the peninsula of Kalaupapa, Molokai Island that would meander the runway. It had good instinct to move when aircraft were using the runway however. Kalaupapa is an active Leprosy colony. I used to fly my twin (PA23-250C) there under contract, USCG, to work on the lighthouse. The Kalaupapa Lighthouse is the tallest in the U.S. A lot of wind up there.
