Just a few photos

Been flying a lot and have had my head buried in the books for my CFI ride coming up. Was scheduled for the 19th but the Inspector got sick. It's now rescheduled for the first week of the new year. Anxious to have it behind me. One can never be over prepared I guess.

Anyhow, Sierra's need snow badly. Hoping for some good ski flying here soon.

Here are a few picks from flying the past few weeks.

Great pictures Kevin, I can't wait to see some 180 ski pictures. The 180 and SQ are looking awesome, glad to see you out logging hours. Good luck on getting your rating, you'll make a great CFI.

Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas guys! Good luck on the checkride. I'm doing my renewal now and cursing American Flyers for this new per page time requirement. Blah!

I thought you sold the Highlander!?

Matt, if you'd like to see pics of a 180/185 on skis, check out George J Parker on FB. You might already follow him. He's the guy in Gooding and has a cabin at SC. He's already playing in the snow!

Re: Just a few photos

We got a mid thigh to waist deep (depending on your height) dump, of super light fluff, almost a record day, one of the best ever up at the ski area behind my place. Too windy to fly and wrong direction, thanks to a departing front, tomorrow we'll see just how much powder the plane's skis (and maybe, the Prince prop) can handle. I'd bet that storm hit your area also Kevin, let's go tear it up tomorrow! Skiing or in my case, snowboarding, and then ski plane flying all in the same day is a blast, and each activity somehow compliments the other, different as they are.
