Lake Hood - Maules, Cubs, Beavers and...

Lots of different planes here. Put up the Skywagon thread and figured I would add the "other" planes that are around the lake as well.

Some good pictures of the airplanes in the snow Kevin! It to bad they have to weather out the seasons outside there! My favorite in this group of pictures, is the Husky on 35" ABW tires.

When I lived in Anchorage 40 odd years ago, one of my favorite pastimes was to go out to Lake Hood, or Anchorage International, or Merrill Field, and just look at the airplanes. As a very green pilot, it was "dream time".

I used to do the same thing when I lived up there in 05-06.
