This works good and I run this on a lot of customer A/C as well. But on some of the 182s that have the cut down strut and big fork, there is not enough strut showing to put much of anything on there.mtv wrote:Also, we always “installed” a short piece of heavy split hose on the nose strut, held in place with hose clamps. In the event of a flat nose strut, it prevents metal to metal, which is not good. And in some rough stuff, if pressure is kinda low, you can bottom out the strut.
Provides a wee bit of cushion, and can’t hurt.
