Something I neglected to think of when I was soloing around as a kid was that just because you could set a plane down in a given open area doesn't necessarily mean it's legal to. So what are the hard and fast rules of where one can take off from & land?
I'm sure you need permission on private property...but what about State parks? State forests? National forests? State or National recreation areas? BLM? Etc.

No worries, the google "trick" is much easier than searching using the forum search bar when looking for full topics, learned it from the man himself, Zzz.
