Turned out to be a good day. Rudderbash[Paul] was waiting at Troutdale when I got there. At Lenhardt's said hi to Kenny Chapman [Kenny Chapman] and goracke1[Chad] were there.

Departed at 11:45 to Independence to meet TomW [Tom] and his friend Keith. Had a good lunch and it was back to base.

We could get lunch there, it is a local excellent spot. I have 8 grass strips that I can take friends into. I have more but the owners said only me.....for now.
Sandy River, Eagle Nest Ranch, Flying M, Workman, Lehmans, Stargazer, Watts, Holmlund. Hood River, Cascade Locks, Mulino all have grass.

Another big turn out 30 or so planes. Some BCP type planes. One SC on 35s After coffee we headed to the top secret spot for some dirt fun.
