Looking for a CFI in Reno NV
A general forum for anything related to flying the backcountry. Please check first if your new topic fits better into a more specific forum before posting.
I am planning on taking a trip to Reno NV in a week and would like to get some high altitude / mountain training. If anyone knows of someone near there please advise. I will be flying into Los Angeles and driving to see my buddy in Reno. If there is someone in-between those two points, that would work too.

Download my free "https://tinyurl.com/Safe-Maneuvering" e-book.
Ok, I see they have quite a few instructors there at Truckee. Thanks

Fred Williams has a Kitfox out of Stead during the winter months; very capable. If you get to Minden we could fix you up with some flying as well.

Yes, it was a great day for the flight. Pretty cool when you get to meet up with fellow BCP’ers!
