Looking for Jump Pack Recommendations

Looking to purchase a portable jump pack to bring along in my aircraft.

Of course there are 10,000 on the market, all with different strengths and weaknesses

Is anyone on this forum using a 12 V jump pack that they are super pleased with? Is there a brand/model that is better suited to aircraft and backcountry/bush ops?

Powrun, 2000 AH, heavy duty wire and clamps won't melt., comes in a nice hard case. I have one in each of my 3 vehicles. After a year and several jumps still at 98%.

I have the NOCO boost plus, which coincidentally I just had to use last night to jump my car. #-o Works great.
Haven't had to use it in the plane, but I'm sure it would work just fine.

Earth-X….. powerful…has the adapters for 12 or 24 Volt….I have the remote cables hooked up so I can control a jump while in the airplane….same connectors as my battery tender too….if you are at OSH they are running a special…may be in their website too

Not bad for 300 bucks, especially as it’s 12 AND 24

Yall making me spend money now lol

12V = 800, 24V = 400
Not going to spin up a turbine or big radial twin, but that should be plenty for most single engine pistons, for its size thats impressive

With a GPU plug that could be very handy for lots of stuff

Re: Looking for Jump Pack Recommendations

I carry an Earth X because I need a 24v jump pack but in my 182 I carried a big Antigravity XP-20 and still carry that battery in my truck. It started a dead, cold O-470 no problem.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

I ordered one of these.

The EarthX looks awesome, but this one checks the boxes for me for a lot less.
