Looking for qualified Seaplane Pilots.

I am recruiting pilots to fly for the parent company of PK Floats. The qualified pilot will be operating Cessna 208's and Cessna 185's both on amphibious floats. The flying will be split between Hawaii and Asia, with two months off per year. I am looking for some input on the best place to advertise for these pilots. I am currently running an ad in barnstormers, but maybe there is a better place to advertise. Here is the ad that I running in Barnstormers.

"Seaplane Pilots Wanted! Commercial/Instrument seaplane pilots wanted for immediate work this spring. One or two year contract with travel and benefits. Outstanding opportunity to grow with a company that is changing the nature of seaplane flying. Overseas travel a must. Some domestic opportunities available for CFI. Qualifications: 500TT, 200 SES, Instrument, Commercial, Turbine a plus, CFI a plus, Multi engine a plus. Please send letter of interest with references and aviation resume. Call for more details. 207-794-0180"

Pay will be dependent on experience. If you know any 208 or 185 pilots looking for an exciting opportunity, please pass this along to them. Any suggestions to help me find qualified recruits will also be appreciated. The 185 in the photo is one of the aircraft that the pilots will be instructing in, in Hawaii. Thank you -Levi

Re: Looking for qualified Seaplane Pilots.

If I was a bit younger and single, I would be all over this. This is a great chance to fly some nice aircraft on floats, for a great company with good pay.

Re: Looking for qualified Seaplane Pilots.

I certainly don't meet the qualifications due to lack of SES hours, and I'm way too old, but gosh that sounds like fun for the right person!

Man, I hope you've got some REALLY good insurance coverage......with folks that light on time, putting them in high performance seaplanes with amphibious gear?????

Good luck, a great opportunity someone who wants to built float time, but I really hope for your sake you have a SUPERB training program.

Re: Looking for qualified Seaplane Pilots.

You are right MTV, That was not my call to put that number of hours in the ad. What I need is 10 people with 1000 hours each in a caravan on amphibs. I have a bunch of positions to fill within our parent company and I will be filtering out applicants based on qualifications.

Re: Looking for qualified Seaplane Pilots.

There would be a lot of Australian pilots interested in these positions, particularly the one in Asia. Pilots jobs in Australia and Asia are all listed here: afap.org.au

Listing a job here is free as well!
