Lord shimmy damper for c182E

Hi

I couldn't find a lord shimmy damper for my 182E the E series is the only model that they don't have a direct replacement.
I was wondering if the 182E uses the same shimmy damper as the D or later models.

Thanks for the help

Re: Lord shimmy damper for c182E

A thought to consider: When my P172D started shimmying about 8 years ago, my immediate reaction was to replace the stock shimmy damper with a Lord. My IA said, however, that before replacing the damper, let's try new shims in the scissors of the fork. So that's what he did, replaced all the shims in the scissors, parts costs only about $5, and his time, which took about an hour (I watched). 8 years and some 500 hours later, it still doesn't shimmy, and the same shimmy damper is still on it.
