BTW...Don't download anything from that website. You never know who's dropping drive-by malware payloads. It might be a honeypot for sneering pilots.

Seattle area has a few also:
1) there's a crackpot who lives in a new apartment building pretty much under the traffic pattern at Arlington KAWO.
He has mailed nasty-grams threatening legal action to people flying in & out of KAWO,
poisoning him with their leaded fuel emissions.
2) another crackpot (or group of them) is mailing letters to pilots who allegedly are flying too low in the Lake Washington area,
specifically the Medina (where Bill Gates has a home) area:
"Documentation, including video of your airplane, have been submitted to the FAA re your violating FAA regulations."
"If you choose to continue to violate FAA regulations, you will be reported to the FAA with undisputed evidence".
Apparently these people are getting their info from Flight Aware or similar.

I just really wonder if those people never ever want to fly in an airplane, or receive a package from afar or go for a medevac ride. No GA no pilots.

Yep, even here in Bozeman, the folks who built right under the north side pattern for 11/29 are constantly bitching at the airport management about the airplane noise. And, right next door to them is a dirt track race track....no mufflers used there.

And, they just broke ground right under the ILS to runway 12 for a new large subdivision.....

Thank goodness for the Coast of Oregon. Very seaplane/helicopter friendly. And a billion LZs in the forest and river banks. Completely paradise. However, must learn to wait out weather.

Hawaii is a different story.

Several years ago, someone had a bad case of panties in a bunch about noise on the east coast, started a website called stopthenoise.org, don't know if it still active. If I remember correctly, she lived under a very rare spot of class G airspace and she wanted the FAA to stop allowing acrobatic practice over her house and to tell her who was in charge of scheduling the planes that practiced in that airspace. She got some national publicity about it, which got her a lot of e-mails, some on which were actually supportive of her cause, most were not. I very politely suggested she move to somewhere that does not have airplane noise, such as Ellesmere Island or Kerguelen Island.

Similar joke to that on Facebook recently: Shining a laser pointer at a C-130 and watching it bank left and start a counterclockwise orbit around your position.

On a similar vane, those who purchase property within a golf community and then complain about golf balls in their backyard. Some people just like to make noise with no logic or reasoning too the noise they themselves are making.

My usual comment to airport noise complainers is that I don't like the smell of cowshit, so I didn't buy a home next door to a dairy farm.
