gdflys wrote:Pete that sounds awesome. I may try and get a few RAF guys to fly up and camp there at some point. We flew with CT_pilot/Drew today and got some footage of one of his club planes. Would love to do a whole fly in, camping, video shoot up there.

Now that sounds like good fun. I'll shoot you a PM with my contact info.

We had previously shot this Stearman the first time working with the gimbal. Turned out pretty good with the colors last fall. She was also experimenting with slow motion. This is the only other shot that is semi back country as we were flying out of CT59

After the Maule shoot we flew with CT_Pilot while he was in his club's Archer. We work as CT's RAF Ambassador and Liaison. We're hoping to get a CT fly in scheduled this year with fly outs to other grass strips in the area. My daughter and I would love to add more Backcountry STOL Taildragging to the video gallery. So if anyone in the northeast would like to get some videos of their plane look us up. We just did another round of shooting this weekend while social distancing with an L-19 and a RV-8. Subscribe to her channel to get all her latest videos. I'll try and get all the backcountry ones posted here too.

The last two aren't Backcountry related but were also fun to shoot on the opposite end of the Spectrum.

Piper JetProp over Long Island and CT coasts.

She is shooting with a Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro on a Movi Pro stabilized gimbal. It’s a serious camera rig with lots of dollars reinvested into her business. Drew we will definitely have to shoot some cool footage on our next RAF camping adventure. The brown scenery does blend pretty well with Rob’s paint scheme. If anyone else wants to grab some video footage we would love to meet up.

That's a good rig. Been using the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema for 5 years or so, they have a great sensor. Ursa is a few steps above.

She's been making some great content with it. She can't wait to upgrade again to a Red.

Hey, it's only money. If i had an extra $100k laying around, and the time to use it, I'd upgrade too. Sounds more fun than cybersecurity.
