Tim's flag was the American Flag! At least before the Stars and Bars. If not for Tim's flag there wouldn't be any Stars and Bars.
I just didn't know it was legal to fly it in Cali.

All true. I have a flag that is Navy isue that flew on my submarine. I will fly it there now and then but that flag has to be raised at 0800 hours and lowered at sunset unless I put a flood light on it like a lot of goverment buidings do. They use the light cus they have no clue as to how it is to be handled and are too lazy to fold it properly.

Is there an exception to lowering the flag while under attack? Ships underway need not lower the flag, not even submarines.

The yellow flag need not be lowered so that is what I use.

You don't suppose it's just cheaper and easier to shine the light on it than to pay someone to raise/lower it every day, do ya?

I heard about a fellow....

...who carried two 165 lbs guys, 300 pounds of camping gear and 66 gallons of fuel on a 15,000 mile trip without difficulty. Altitudes from below sea level to 6,000 ft. at temps as high as 96 degrees. His was an M5-210-C.

Now I have no idea as to whether this was legal, within gross wt. etc. or not. That is just what I heard. I do know that the M5-210-C is quite a performer though: as I have owned one for over 8 years.
