Merry Christmas 2017... what'd ya get(or do)?

Merry Christmas to all from BCP. Thankful as usual to have you all aboard here, and especially to those BCPers who I am close to in "real life."

I hope everyone has a nice holiday with family and gets Bushwheels under their tree. 8)

We might as well have some fun and post up some pics of the loot here.

I got myself some Lycon-ized cylinders and bolted them on, though it'll be a while before I can play with this toy.

I also treated myself to a new powder coating oven for the garage.

Noticing a pattern... I bought all these presents for myself. 8) Of course I also got a new perfect and healthy baby girl to round out the family. Life's good.

Good idea for a thread,

I will post what I get tomorrow after the man in red has been by.
For now I simply wish the BCP family a very merry Christmas and best wishes for the new year.

Re: Merry Christmas 2017... what'd ya get?

I got a broken water pipe in the greenhouse. I'm now somewhat skeptical about those thermostatically controlled heat tapes...

It's all good though! About the only thing I really want is some more snow.

If it snows enough tonight I'll get to plow again tomorrow, which would be the ultimate christmas treat. For the first time in my life I get to move snow with something other than my back...8,000 pound skid steer with a 8' blade and ice chains on all four tires. Soooo much fun!

Happy holidays and all that, though for me the winter solstice was the real event to celebrate. I love tracking the sun south, and now I get to track it north. Much more meaningful and entertaining to me than the rest of it.

Merry Christmas 2017... what'd ya get?

Merry Christmas all. Like Zane said, especially to those of you I know personally. I got to go do a little engine warm up flight yesterday. Today we got some of the white stuff and the hot tub sprang a leek.
Cheers...Rob

Received a wide assortment of BCP swag. For the Maule I got a new canopy cover, LED landing and taxi lights and new lenses, and a plug and jump. My daughters digitized one of the pictures they took of the Maule and made a "blueprint" for the office.

Merry Christmas to you all and your families. I got my new BCP hat, the new airplane movie, and some books. No big airplane stuff, but that's what you get when you are spending it all on customer planes while trying to build up a business... it'll pay off eventually!

Merry Christmas 2017... what'd ya get?

Merry Christmas everyone! First and foremost I got 3 weeks at home over the holidays. Then today I got a new Big Agnes down sleeping bag and a new camping stove. Very excited about both. And of course some good running gear.

Hope everyone had a great day. Ours was a lot of fun with the kids. Might be the last year Adam is a true believer, so we had as much fun as we could!

It sure is. I’m soaking in as much as I can. At this point in my life/career, time with the kids is king and I’m in a good place where I can make it happen. Very fortunate.

Got me a pair of those Baofeng handheld programmable radios. Freaking amazing what they can do these days with circuit boards.
