Modification index for Cessna 182

In the same format as the recent PA 20/22 modification index, I think a great next target would be the Cessna 182. So many people here are flying them, and the questions posted to the forum about putting big tires and big noseforks on them are posted frequently.

Where to start? Take a look at the PA-20/22 link and take note of the categories of modifications like:
  • Controls
  • Engine
  • Landing gear
  • Wings

etc... Please keep the mods backcountry-flying related, as we're not trying to be the master resource for types, rather just the backcountry-mod specific information source.

Not sure how we'll address the wide range of years and models available just yet, but if the modification/STC you post is model/year restricted please include that information.

Thanks everybody!

An Airglass nose fork and Sportsman STOL kit would be two mods I would want if I had a 182.

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.
