I accept full blame for the lack of snow around here. Because my old one is 30+ years old, I bought a new Toro snowblower just before Christmas, and I've only been able to use it twice. I'm thinking of billing all the neighbors because they haven't had to shovel, due to my largesse. :)

Then I added to the problem. Right after the first of the 2 snows, I put the chains on my airplane's tug, anticipating the usual winter in which they're needed. I think, if we're to avoid any drought the next few months, I need to take them off--that's almost a guarantee that it'll snow again.
