MT reversing prop demo video
Information and discussion about seaplanes, float planes, and water operations.
@john54724 from Flight Resource sent me this video link of a 206 backing out of parking with the MT reversing prop. Seems pretty slick.
I guess you can warm up the plane with zero pitch to avoid taxiing, then hold the momentary switch to keep it in beta, and release to return to normal forward pitch.

I like seeing that they’re doing that with bigger engines. It gives me hope since I’m planning floats for my project and plan to use a big engine.

I've watched the turbo otter guys do that. Very cool option for piston-power. Hope they sell like hot cakes.

1. Awesome video/product.
2. Is it an optical illusion or is that prop inches from shredding the part of the dock that goes above the front of the floats? That's all I can focus on.

It looks awfully close, but I think there is some optical illusion there.

Reversing prop or not, that is some good parking.
I've done worse with twin screws and bow-thrusters.
