My Cool Cross Country

I am leaving in the morning for my three week cross country.

Image

Starting at upper left. Except for two hotel nights in round Rock Texas for my submarine reunion I will either be mooching off friends or camping. Well that is the plan.

Safe flying, and enjoy the trip and reunion!

I can't tell where exactly you're stopping in IL or NE, but you might consider lunch at Amana Colonies C11, is a grass strip and a couple of block walk for family style German food. No gas though.

Looks like you held pretty close to your plan...... How much total flight time?

Got home yesterday. No hobbs in my plane but the tach time says 57.9 hrs for this cross country. It registers a bit low so I will just say 6 hrs. Was gone for 20 days. There were 5 non flying days so the average was 4 hrs per day. I did have one 7.5 hour day. Had a lot of fun.

With the one exception it was a series of short flights. All easy terrain.
