My eight night plan

If all goes well I will be setting off solo for some fly camping. the guy that I was going to fly with ended up with a leaky fuel bladder in his 182.
Night of the 6th and 7th it looks like Garden Valley. 8th and 9th Johnson Creek. 10th and 11th Cavanaugh Bay. Then 12th and 13th camping at Concrete Washington for antique plane fly in. https://concrete-wa.com/fly-in/

Would love to potluck with some others and make some new flying friends or just see some I already know

Re: My eight night plan

IMHO the Concrete fly-in is the best fly-in in the Puget Sound area.
After a few years of being known as an antique fly-in,
due to the fact that the "North Cascades Vintage Aircraft Museum" (now defunct) sponsored it.
it's back to being called the Concrete Old-Fashioned Fly-in just like back in the day.
All airplanes are welcome, not just antiques and vintage-- plus Harleys, hotrods, etc.
I'll be there, probably parked somewhere along the south side of the runway.
Lotsa people camp Friday night, & there's usually a Saturday morning pancake feed by the local volunteer firefighters.
The airport fills up quick on Saturday, but even if it looks full, there's always room enough, by tailing airplanes in or double-parking them.
(in spite of a "the airport is closed due to no parking " radio call by one of the volunteers a couple years ago  )

Took off at about 0630 and flew for about 10 minutes fix for my pilots door latch failed so i turned around and came home. Working on it now. I love my old 182 but mechanical does eventually fail. Not sure when I will be back in the air.
