N3N FLoatplane
Information and discussion about seaplanes, float planes, and water operations.
A unique aircraft - on its way to Yellowknife to be part of Buffalo Joe's fleet.
Pilot had zero time on type before this ferry flight and now is the only one in Canada that is current on N3N.

That looks awesome!
Kind of reminds me of this awesome scene from the movie "Murphy's War:"

Is that the one that's been sitting on a float in Pender Harbor all these years? Can't believe it hasn't corroded away to nothing by now.

When you said "floatplane", that sure isn't what came to mind. With that single float in the middle, it reminds me of a Grumman Duck.

My old boss owned that plane. I got a ride it once. What a machine! Very cool.
I wondered what happened to it. Good see it will keep flying!
