Need a ride from Sacramento CA to Redding
A general forum for anything related to flying the backcountry. Please check first if your new topic fits better into a more specific forum before posting.
Left my plane at Redding on my way to Seattle from Costa Rica.
Low clouds crossing the mountains north of Redding was the reason.
Next week from Tuesday onwards weather looks like will be good all the way from California to Washington state.
My plan is to fly to Sacramento commercial, then get a ride to Redding.
Anyone willing to give me a ride?
I will be willing to pay for fuel or lunch.

I could just go pick it up for you!

Also United flies from SEA to RDD Via SFO

Good one Piper
Looked at those flights but arrives at 4:30 PM in Redding and the cockpit lights on my plane are not so good to fly at night.
My airport in Costa Rica closes at 6:00 PM so never needed them.

You could make it 3 hours before sunset in Seattle! And if you get a red headlamp you'll be good for "Light."

This is no Mooney and actually a slow 182, cruises at 110 KTS
Stalls at about 38kts thought so I like the way it is.

I've got a lot of time in 182's they are good airplanes! I guess it would be a little slower than the Mooney, but Justin made good time up here!
