New apparel in the store!

Pre-order BCP apparel between today and Oct 31. Items will begin shipping around Nov 7th.

Hey everyone,

I decided to do things a little differently this time around with BCP apparel. I've design some new shirts, hats, and stickers, but I've not locked down any quantities yet for my order. Anyone who has ever had materials printed knows that demand and quantity is the big unknown.

So for a limited time, I'm offering some discounts for those who pre-order. After the pre-order sale is over, prices will go back to normal, but I'll have a good idea the demand and boost my order quantities by 30% or so. If you want to stake your claim, please make an order.

The downside? You'll have to wait a few weeks to get your stuff after ordering. Also, if a minimum quota isn't met, I'll refund all orders.

The upside? You'll lock the goods in before they sell out, and confirm for me there enough interest to order from the vendor.

I'm also testing some changes made to the store. If you see anything weird or have issues, let me know.

Thanks!

FYI, a user notified me there was an issue on mobile where the cart button was obscured by the global banner. It's been fixed.

Re: New items in the BCP store! (2017)

Is it viable to partner with a supplier that we can choose items from a catalogue and have them embroidered? You'd never be out of stock, items would ship direct, and you'd get a small kickback.

Sorry, just not interested in much of what you order and sell. Never wear T shirts, and have a drawer full of free ones I've collected. I wear hats, but seldom pay for one. They're given away like kittens at a farmers market in our industry.

An nicely embroidered jacket, backpack, or denim shirt, that's interesting. Also puts your brand on some items off the higher shelves.

Not meaning to detract or be critical, I'd just like to wear your colours on something nicer.

I have considered that, even did jackets for a while but they made zero profit, and unfortunately I need to make money. It's not just about exposure.

I like to control the brand, and accordingly, I find garments like denim shirts and cheap backpacks and other swag unappealing.

Perhaps you can get by with a sticker 8)

No problem.

I get the intent of the hats and T-shirts. Didn't realize there was little ROI on the embroidered stuff. I'll still support the site other ways.

Well, I'd be in for a one-time run of embroidered fleece pullovers or something along those lines if it were to happen. It gets chilly out here, and those are multi-purpose.

Also on the hats, any way to get rid of that skull crusher knob on top? Wearing airplane hats is best done at the airport, but I don't use that style when flying as the headset grinds that little knob into my head.

It takes about 2 seconds to remove those "knobs" on top of the hat with a pair of pliers. I do it all the time. No point spending extra for "knobless" hats...

Nice! I am in.

Will the sizing and fit be the same as before?

Black is good, nice an easy to wear. Bright colours help it pop too.

I do like the 1/4 zips too, and experimented in doing wool ones a few years ago, but finding a wholesale garment that was good quality and didn't break the bank was difficult.

Would need to find the right fleece garment.

Yes, the Canvas 3001, although this time they are 100% cotton instead of the cotton/poly blend of the dark Heather ones from the Alpenglow design.

Bright colors...hmm. Red? Green?

I ordered a couple of the shirts. I like the old ones (cotton/poly blend). Mine is worn out.

I liked what you did with the Alpenglow T.
A little burst of colour goes a long way.

Is anyone interested in hoodies? And if so, will you pay $49 for one? (They are pretty nice, I'm wearing one right now, but the wholesale price is kinda steep.) They're the exact same garment Airframes Alaska uses for their Bushwheels hoodie.

Cool... You will have to make a second order, but I can ship them together.

I'm waiting to hear from the vendor on garment availability. Will know more tomorrow.

I'd do a hoodie. Not quite as awesome as a fleece pullover, but we'll get there one day.
