Great article. I like Wups new website too. Very neat looking. My only gripe about it is not putting prices up on the planes for sale.

I have a long standing policy: I'll pass. No price . . . no call. I figure if they aren't up-front about the pricing, either it's too high, or they may not be up-front about other stuff too.

Now I will say that in all my dealings with Wup, he's been a straight up guy and I have the utmost respect for him. Even though AKB did sell me 4 of those flat "fluid bags" that have crappy plastic caps and nozzles that change dimensions over time and then don't seal well. Oh well.

I thought the fuel bags were a neat idea since they pack so flat when not in use, unlike an empty fuel can. Shame they didn't seal well, but I guess that's something only learned after community test data over months or years.

I LOVE my two gas bags..... I always assume they may dribble a bit (though getting some properly sized O-rings for the caps helps a lot) and just plan accordingly. I carry mine empty, folded behind my seat and right in front of my ferry tank, zero room needed. Just last week while broke down in Battle Mountain and on a parts run into town in the loaner car I also came back with 17 gallons of $3.43 mo gas. I use my high volume electric transfer pump to pump it up in the mains. I made up a dipstick that quick connects into the line that normally draws from the 6 gallon ferry tank, so I can just hang the gas bag from the side of the fuselage or set it in the rear seat area (depending on how much crap I have on board) and in about 4 minutes or so the bag is empty, with zero effort and zero chance of spillage. I carry them often in my different cars and trucks, and like the way they slump over against the side and are then pretty stable as opposed to a plastic jug sliding around. Quick emptying also, the minor dribble sometimes is worth all the advantages, they have been a game changer for me. I have the best of both worlds for my type of plane/flying: easy 8 hr duration AND the ability to get my own gas "on the road". In Battle Mt. I saved about 40 bucks using the preferred lead free mo-gas, so it was pretty easy to give up 10 for the use of the car. I got back home with 4 hrs of fuel left over.

I must say Thanks to Zane for taking the time to put this together. I must also say I have been of the same train of thought on the prices and listing them in a ad, but I have now seen the difference in inquires and it does a few things for me. It gets contact and interaction from possible buyers that are looking but have a price range that might not fit THAT airplane. and if the listing price is too high they won't inquire. If there is no listing price they ask and that begins dialog even it it don't fit price range. Then I can find what they want in their price range and it works for both parties. You can never make everyone happy (bumper ) but I try....hahahaha
