New Seapane Pilot/ First Post

I just earned my seaplane rating, what a blast! I can see why they say this is addictive! Anyone have any leads on seaplane activity in PA area?

Yep, that's a bunch of fun! Is that Brown's? I didn't realize they have a Supercub.

I have plans to go down to Cherry Pocket next month and fly with Brian at Adventure Seaplanes. I have the rating but don't get a chance to use it. I'm looking forward to getting recurrent.

Yep it is Brown's. They have 5 J3's, supercub and M7. Was a nice break from the PA winter.

I had my first lesson last summer in a Citabria in NW Wisconsin. I hope I have a chance to finish it this year. But then, I don't have a seaplane. So I'd hate to waste it.

At first I thought that way too, but the experience is valuable for any flying i believe. And also it was an amazing time so well worth it to me.

I earned my SES at Seattle Seaplanes 3 1/2 years ago. If I can arrange it, I'd like to go out there again and do a BFR. It was such a blast! They tell me $310/hour, including fuel and instructor, for a BFR.
