Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.

New super cub

That's too cool. The cub will be staying in tx for a little while, I'm
working for Steve pierce. I would love to hear more stories about the cub and what not. Going to be re covering the wings in the next few months, and replacing the floorboards.

Changed the panel up a little bit.

What I love is how original the cub is. Plus it's a good flying plane. I'm happy.

Re: New super cub

I washed it yesterday, after I went to the river, had to scrape the mud off with a putty knife. Windshield was covered in mud too. Ha

Oh boy! Let the fun and the adventures begin! :D Congratulations! Definitely need bigger tires, tell the wife it's a safety issue, for those inadvertent off airport landings. Worked for me 8)

Re: New super cub

Tom,
Most of my follies around that cub involve desert tearing, river running, ridge top and volcanoe landing, honest to goodness cub fun 8). Consequently all my photos are best shared over a beer to avoid any incrimination

Hafast on the other hand knows that plane and Don probably better than anyone else :D Although I never took a level to it, I do recall it being a good flyer. Better get that prop and wheels before you ask too much more about that cub, if you knew all the flying it did just the way it's set up you might not see the need for the long prop and big wheels

Working with Steve has got to be a great gig. How'd Luke's cub come together?

Take care, Rob

Got the bushwheels on, going to be recovering the wings in a few weeks. Been flying the hell out of it.
