New super cub

Went out today and picked up my new super cub. It's pretty original, besides the 3"
Gear, safety cables, ext baggage, Vg's, and baggage door. Has a new top OH with 160hp. I need to get a borer and bushwheels. I'm pretty dang excited. It's a fixer upper, little rough but a good solid cub

Looks good. From the looks of that shadow picture, you'll be running an Air Tractor up and down the fields pretty soon.

Re: New super cub

It may have been on barnstormers awhile ago, hasn't been on in awhile. It needs some work, I'll be re covering the wings in a month or so. Have to get a borer and 31's.

Re: New super cub

Too Funny, I've got about 70 hours in the front seat of that Cub, right after I got my SEL my buddy that used to own it taught me how to fly tailwheel in it. Actually, now that I think about it, that's the plane that I got my tailwheel endorsement in. Unfortunately he died a couple of years ago and his wife sold it. Have fun with it, I've got a lot of good memories flying in it and next to it when I had my SuperCub.

That's too cool. I have a feeling I will have it for quite awhile. It sure does fly great.

Re: New super cub

Congrats on that cub! The gent Hafast is talking about always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face when the topic of that cub came up. I suspect you will too

Very fitting for it to be out in the northeast, it has already been far northwest in to Alaska, and far southwest in to Mexico and throughout the southern cajun country =D>

Take care, Rob
