I stopped by the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome one time on a driving trip east. They have the oldest flying aircraft going. You can see them fly on your screen: http://www.oldrhinebeck.org/ We didn't get to see the show as it was in the middle of the week when we were there and we didn't have the time to stay. There planes date back to the Wright brothers days. They have a flyable Bleroit (sp) 1909. This is the first plane to fly across the English Channel in 1909. They are to try it again this year (100 year ann) 2009. Bob

Yeah, I've been to their websight. My pilot friends who have been there had video and pix they took while there. They said it's Disneyland for pilots and want to go back.

Yes, we had planned to go up and hang out at the hotel overnight, party a little, then check out the show the next day. The weather turned nasty and we had to cancel. I think we scheduled it on the last weekend of the season.
We'll try again this year, I guess.

Terry, are you out of MPO :?:

No - I'm at Jake Arner (22N). Moved there just about a year ago as a hangar opened up and I was (finally) next on the list. :D Ever stopped in?

No. But I go to Slatington frequently. I have a buddy based there and Neil Kroboth at Slatington Aviation does my annuals.
