Northeast Fly-In at N41 - October 24

Planning an informal fly in for Waterbury (N41) airport in Plymouth, CT for October 24th. A few of us will be flying in on the Friday and camping out for the weekend of anyone is interested in that as well. Nice little grass strip with two runways (17/25 @ 2,005' and 02/20 @ 1,600') in west-central Connecticut. It's in a nice area, and we will likely do some flying out at some point on Saturday as well, to other strips in the area.

You will need to bring your own tie-downs. We are working on getting some porte-johns delivered and will provide an update on that when we can. Should be a fun time and hopefully not too cold yet. Should be a beautiful flight in and out as we should be somewhere around peak foliage by then I imagine.

Once it is closer, I will look for confirmations to get an idea of how many we can expect so we can plan accordingly. Hope some of y'all up here in the northeast can make it in.

Definitely on for the 24th. We will have a porta-potty onsite for restrooms and will be doing a grill lunch (burger and hot dogs) or food trucks (depending on how much interest we are seeing). Some of us will be camping out at the airfield Friday and/or Saturday night if you would be interested in doing that as well. If you plan to come, please let me know so we can get an idea of headcount, etc. Some details on the strip below; obviously check your source of choice (AFD, FF, GP, RAF Airfield Guide, etc.) and NOTAMs, etc. before coming in. Andy questions, you can shoot me a text at (860) 305-4163.

Waterbury Airport (N41) - Plymouth, CT
Elevation: 850' Pattern: 1,850'
CTAF: 122.9

Runway 17/35 is 2,000'x135' turf with off of both ends
Runway 02/20 is 1,600'x250' turf with trees at both ends

Kent invite the other Husky guys as well. Hopefully Kristina can come at some point to shoot some more video and air to air too. Looking forward to seeing you there.
