Luckily neither Me or my flying buddies are ego maniacs. You would never hear "Awe come on, you can do it" when talking about off airport stuff. Fly smart and with in you comfort/skill level. Even going to places I have been before I have decided not to land because it didn't "feel right" like it should when operating near your aircraft and personal limits. That LZ is no more than 300' long and is about 80+ feet up off the surrounding terrain. the edges drop off at about a 45deg angle from the top. It is the same height as the tree tops that are off each end. Looks to be a pile made up of gravel and bark. I suspect they use this pile to store material for maintaining the logging roads in that area.
