O-470 Exhaust
Lycoming, Continental, Hartzell, McCauley, or any broad spectrum drive system component used on multiple type.
Looking at replacing my exhaust on O-470R. Prices sure vary.
Acorn $7500
Power Flow $11300
Planexhaust $4500
QAA Hartzell aerospace $7500
All prices in Canadian peso.
Any suggestions/ recommendations out there?

Might also look at Knisley Welding Inc. I had to replace a muffler on my O-470U last year and got good service and support from them. Here's a link:

Good luck!

Knisley. Added to my 470R a few years back. It was a bit over $2k for complete system back then.

I use Acorn. Mostly because its fairly close to me, so its convenient. But they also make a very good product. I've had a couple powerflow systems that I've had to send to Acorn for warranty repairs on behalf of powerflow. The powerflow also makes the plane somewhat of a PIA to work on.

Knisely is now Acorn as far as I understand. I bought the knisely last year to replace my 470R exhaust and it was fantastic looking product - but I only used it 30 hours before biting the P-Ponk bullet.
