Oddball 182

I believe the Wren mod was the beginnings of the Peterson Katmai. The Katmai isn't as elaborate as the Wren, but deifinitely gets the canards from Wren. I did not realize that the Wren had drooping ailerons and flaps like that. Very cool. Wonder how much weight that adds and how much speed you lose in flight due to all the extra drag?
I could very well be totally wrong and stand to be corrected if that is the case.

The Wren 460 was the predecessor to the Katmai. The owner of the one I flew in basically said it was a nice 2 person plane.
