One thing you always pack and why?
Avionics, airplane covers, tires, handheld radios, GPS receivers, wireless Wx uplink...any product related to backcountry aircraft and flying.
Not that extraordinary, but my "Claw" tie down kit. I just don't trust chocks alone to keep the wind from messing with my airplane. Seems like every time I want to go someplace, the winds pick up to 10G15 anyway. And that says nothing of prop/jet/rotor wash. Combined with a good control lock (more rope in my case), I feel much better about not finding my airplane in a different place than I left it.

I really love my light and powerful Yamaha generators. Good for safety and comfort. Use with discretion because it’s loud. Sounds and smell of carbon fuel burning in the morning may not be for everyone.

+1. And a Leatherman on my belt. Seems like there are always loose screws somewhere.

A garbage bag. There's almost always something that can be cleaned up and flown out.

This is the best suggestion thus far, IMO.

Good thing to have in the cockpit when carrying untried pax.
Much better than those little airsick bags when someone starts puking.
