Pacific NW seasonal opening fly out

Last year we did Powers, OR, 2 weeks before JC. Is there any interest in doing it again this year? How bout holding it at Lucas Lodge, would have to be cleared with Linda for that amount of planes. What does you all think?

If Lucas Lodge doesn't work, maybe some place like Land's Inn, Red's Horse Ranch??

Powers & Lucas Lodge was a lot of fun. Would love to go back and add another weekend to Reds.

1 vote for Lucas lodge. Personally I like it when I don't have to mess with camping BS. But I will

Cheers

Me too, depending on timing. Missed last year due to a clapped out generator, so hoping to make it this time.

I'm in! However, my vote would be to seperate the dates between this and garden valley a little more to make it easier for gas money and work schedule.

Newbie Alert: Lucas Lodge? Ident, Lat-Long? Not familiar with that one. A little help if you please.

I know Reds ( NE of LaGrande Ore ), Land Inn in Grant Ore ( near John Day area ), and cowboy Dinner Tree ( near Silver Lake Ore ).

Thanks!

Weekend before or after Garden Valley would allow some coming longer distance to join in? I would try to make it.

Lands Inn would be a great place for a group, they have a huge hanger with basically a restaurant in it, would be a good place to hang.

Tokatee could always hold a group too.

Im down for whatever tho!

Re: Pacific NW seasonal opening fly out

6S6 is Powers Oregon. Lucas Lodge is a Private "emergency" strip on the Rogue River at Agness to the south of Powers. The owners of Lucas Lodge don't mind people flying in if they first contact them and let them know they are coming. It is a "land at your own risk" situation and of course they don't mind if you stay at the lodge, eat a meal etc.
