PCU5000 for a Pponk or Northpoint O-470-50
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Hi,
Does anyone have a PCU governor on their Pponk or Northpoint engine?
Are you happy with it?
Does it really weigh less than a Woodward/McCauley?
Do you have the model number?
Thanks

I have a PCU on my airplane. It was on the original IO-470 and now the new IO-550. I haven't weighed it against others, but it works great. Never had an issue. P/N ATA210760H.

We have one on our PPONK. No issues in 4+ years. Was told by the governor shop they have a longer recommended OH interval and the head rotates if you have any linkage issues.
Model is: PCU5000 ATA210760L
