PFD Recomendations

It’s time to buy two new PFDs….would appreciate and specific brand or retail suggestions..I know they need to be manually inflatable…want a style that is easy to wear and not too bulky…have been flying a lot ore over norther Lake Michigan with SOSpenders that are auto inflate…and I know that’s wrong….thanks for any advice

Re: PFD Recomendations

Highly Recommend Switlik. Several versions to choose from. I use the X-back MOLLE which allows me to attach a HEED bottle and emergency egress cutter to the vest. TR

Much like headsets, I’d go to westmarine or a fisheries supply and try some on and see what you like

I’d also recommend the safety institute if you have the time, especially the HUET training
