If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

Nice. I believe that is Lake Canyon on the right. If you had maintained the same heading give or take and popped up over the rim in about thirty seconds you would have overflown where I lived for three years.

There are far too many really back country related pics here for me to post my poor attempts, but I have a couple cool working "out the window" pics. Eltees "VFR cooridor" reminds me of these ones:

Going to be awful tough to find an emergency landing spot there....banner in tow to boot

I heard someone say "yellow is the color of money"

A couple ag related out the windows:

Image
crumby picture, but my idea of "a mans airplane" and Dan is 'the man'

Image
....spraying here is going to blow....

Image
yep... downwind, upwind, in the turns... working around these things sucks and blows all at once...

...glad we're done with that program

pg, exciting is a good choice of words

here's a good shot for anyone who hasn't been upclose and personal to a wind turbine, if the semis parked next to the station don't do the size justice, take a look at the the "H poles" / power poles on the left side of the photo compared to the windmills:

The good news is that once your mind gets wrapped around the "spinning blade" concept, you realize there is actually a ton of room under them...
