Photos Updated Sierra Flying Saturday January 7th - 9am KTRK

There are so many folks around here thay love to fly, lets keep it going!

Oregonmaule is coming out of the rain and clouds south bound and hopefully he can join us. As for everyone else, the weather looks to be stellar and thinking we should get the band together again this weekend.

Will be ready to go from KTRK at 9am. More details to come as we get closer.

Who is in???

If you don't mind a small-tired nosedragger, the Boss says that I can go out to play on Sunday.

I'm in. Still on the engine break in. Probably have 20 hr on it when I get to Truckee. Not suppose to fly at low power settings till 25. I guess I'll play it by ear. Maybe catch a ride and buy the go juice?

Look forward to seeing some of your area and hanging out!

JLB, maules.com any chance you will come?

Good day

Hi Jeremy: Yes Saturday the 7th the 6th is a travel day. Kevin Saturday works for me.
I assumed Kevin was talking Sat or Sun. I was wrong.

I picked up a co-pilot so the M7 will fly no matter what.

Cheers

Uh-Oh. I should probably look at a calender before posting repiles.
I was thinking Saturday and Sunday, not Friday and Saturday!
Well, it's only plans with the family......I'm sure that they would understand....it's all about priorities.

Re: Sierra Flying January 6th and/or7th

Kevin- Saturday can work if we can nail the day down asap.......Denise would be there too!
Also, not to be a hardass, but we should have a firm departure time as we've had some slowpokes that cost a bunch of us quality flying time in the past..... :D

I've seen some late snow years, and some crappy snow years, but this is ridiculous.

I know the flying's good, but my skis are pretty lonely.

Re: Sierra Flying January 6th and/or7th

It sounds like there will be flying the 7th (Sat) and everybody will be meeting about 9:00am.
Scott N. and I can make it at that time. Will this be the North Circut?

Re: Sierra Flying January 6th and/or7th

Weather is looking to be stellar again this weekend. Lets see about meeting at KTRK 9am on Saturday for the north cirq. Seems like we will have a crew again. Fired up!

My hanger is C-7. I will be there.

Tim- One of the cool things about these fly-ins is the pace. Its fun cruising with everyone. No hurry ups as we move at our own pace.

Looking forward to the weekend

Re: Sierra Flying Saturday January 7th - 9am KTRK

Hi Kevin-
Denise and I should be there before 9....right now trying to organize our weekend around it.

BTW, the flying at own pace is wonderful.....I was referring to the start/departure time from Truckee. The last couple of times I showed up before the departure time and we sat around quite a while for everyone to get organized and moving....although one time I think was due to a lot of activity late the prior night! :D

Its all good, and we'll be there before 9, and if you guys are ready at 9 and we arent there, depart without us!

AKT I still am out those bulls so if you leave Mikes to the north, have the guys watch out for them.
Saw the BCP line up go by last week end along 395 SB. I was in the meadows west of the hiway, moving cattle.
I'll work on the strip rehab this spring!

If this wind forecast holds it will be a fast trip from Oregon to Nevada. I'll have ground speeds close to 175MPH
